UAE weather: Hazy and partly cloudy day ahead, temperature to hit 49°C

Dubai - The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 46 - 49°C along internal areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts Sunday weather to be hazy and partly cloudy at times during the day in the eastern areas.

According to the NCM, there is a possibility of convective clouds formations in the some eastern and southern areas of the country by afternoon.
Light to moderate winds, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand, with speeds of up to 40 kmph.

Temperatures will range from 46°C to 49°C in the interior regions, 43°C to 47°C along the coast and 34°C to 38°C in the mountains.


It will be humid by evening and on Monday early morning over some western coastal areas. The maximum humidity will vary from 60 to 80 per cent across coastal, 45 to 65 per cent in interior regions and between 65 to 85 per cent in the mountains.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
