>> Online bargains: The burgeoning online space in the UAE has made online shopping lucrative. Even if you are in a mall, vying for a product, it pays to quickly do a search online and check. Many a time, retailers offer extra discounts for online shoppers.
>> Corporate discounts: Many corporates have tie-ups with firms that allow extra discounts for their employees when they go shop. Maintain a list of such discounts and align it when possible.
>> Credit cards: Don’t apply for any credit card; understand your spending pattern and secure a card that can help you get extra discounts or cash back. The banking industry in the UAE is brimming with offers that can help you get the most out of your spending.
>> Less is more: We have all been taught a lesson on minimalism this year, and we would do well to remember it. To stay focused and spend on things and experiences you treasure, delist and unsubscribe from the websites that haven’t been of much use in the last 10 months or so. Ignorance is bliss, sometimes.
