His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted in honour of mothers on the occasion of Emirati Mother's Day on Satuday, asking people to take special care of their mother during the current crisis in the world.
His Highness asked everyone 'to take care of their mothers and keep them healthy.'
"Stick to medical instructions with them, stay at home with them, take good care of them and spend quality time with them because they are the most valuable thing we have in this world," said Sheikh Mohammed in his tweet.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, thanked all mothers 'everywhere' for their love and sacrifices.
The Crown Prince paid a glowing tribute to all mothers on the occasion of the Emirati Mother's Day that is celebrated on March 21 every year.
"To mothers everywhere, we thank all of you for the sacrifices you made, and the values you instilled in our hearts. Let us remember the mothers who are no longer among us, and honor those who still are. You will forever be our inspiration and our strength," Sheikh Mohamed tweeted.
The leader said we should pay homage to Emirati mothers, especially the mothers of the martyrs, "who are the symbol of patriotism and generosity."
He said a mother was and will always  be the source of all values, the giver of birth and the one who preserves generations."
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Committee, also congratulated all mothers for their love and sincerity, and said they are the most valuable assets.
"The world is going through difficult circumstances, and we must adhere to medical instructions to preserve the health of our people, especially our mothers', because they are the most valuable asset we have."
UAE's minister of Energy and Industry, Suhail Al Mazroui thanked Mother of Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fathima fro all her contributions in developing strategies and policies to support mothers and children locally and globally.

Malak Tariq Afarsi, an Emirati mother of two girls aged eight and six, said every day is 'mother's day' for all mothers, "but a special day set aside for us to feel special is always an added bonus."
"When mothers work hard behind the scenes to raise children, manage their homes and work simultaneously, nobody realises the sacrifices; the long nights staying up and looking after our sick kids. But when your child brings you their first medal or certificate of achievement, it makes it all worth it."
"Lamia and my younger daughter Leanne make me proud in all their endeavours be it Lamia in gymnastics or Leanne preparing for her first exams in playing the piano and excelling in her studies or when they make the cutest little handwritten notes to make me smile. My world is in my children and that for me is my biggest achievement," said Malak who quit her job as an HR professional a few years ago to be a full time mother.
Umm Ahmed, a mother of four children in Abu Dhabi said a special day dedicated to Emirati mothers goes a long way in acknowledging their dedication and sacrifices.
"This morning, all my children wished me a happy Mother's Day and thanked me for everything I do for them. It made me immensely happy.
"We mothers don't seek recognition or reward. We value the success of our children and happiness more than ours. And we have learnt it from the mother of the nation, who is never in the limelight. But she is working tirelessly for our society and for the women of UAE. That is how every mother should be," said Umm Ahmed.
