Salim Saeed Hamood Al Darea was on an outing with his family when he saw someone engulfed in deep sea currents seeking help. He managed to drift him to the shore and provided first aid until the ambulance arrived.
Colonel Dr Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, director of the eastern region police department at the Sharjah Police, praised Al Darea’s quick action and his courage to save lives.
