UAE resident finds Dh40,000 on street, returns it to police

An Arab resident has been honoured in Abu Dhabi for handing over Dh40,000 he found in the middle of the street. An Asian resident had lost the amount in Al Dafra.
Mahmoud Khaled Al Shibli handed over the amount to the police, after which the police honoured him with a certificate and a gift.
Colonel Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, director of the criminal security sector of Al Dhafra Police Directorate, stressed the police's keenness to encourage individuals to cooperate in "combating crime before it occurs".
