Launching the new collection for Diwali, Raj Sahai, retail director, Damas, said, “Our latest collection has a lot of Diwali elements in it. Colours, flowers, fireworks and Rangoli were just some of the influences used to create the unique designs.”
A blend of Arabian influences with Asian heritage, this season will see the jewellery brand unveil 29 new designs as part of its ‘Diwali by Damas’ collection.
“A woman wants to look good and it’s the perfect gift for a loved one. It goes with the season and every design is a work of art,” said Raj.
An expressive gift, the designs have been crafted with the Asian consumer in mind.
“Gold is a very good investment and we have worked hard to create designs which are innovative and people would like to wear.”
The jewellery retailer is expecting sales to increase by 20 to 30 per cent over the next few days, as Indians will celebrate the festival of Diwali along with Dhanteras.
Customers shopping at Damas would also be rewarded for their purchases, as the retailer will give assured gifts for any purchase above Dh3000.
“It’s our way of making the customer feel special and unique,” added Raj.
The exquisite Diwali collection will be available in 22 karat gold across more than 50 Damas showrooms in the country.
