Sheikh Hamdan challenges Emirates; check out the airline's response

Dubai - Dubai Crown Prince also issues the challenge to the Chairman of Emirates airline

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, on Friday challenged Emirates Airline and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman of Emirates Airline and Chief Executive of the Emirates Group, to take part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The challenge - which will start on October 20 - aims to turn Dubai into the most active city in the world.
In a series of Instagram stories, the Dubai Crown Prince, popularly known as Fazza, addressed the challenge to "all the teams at Emirates".
He encouraged them to sign up and take up the fitness challenge. He also added that he looks forward to seeing everyone in action to commit at least 30 minutes of physical activity for 30 days starting October 20. The same challenge was also posted on his Twitter handle @HamdanMohammed.

Just moments after Sheikh Hamdan issued his challenge, Dubai's flag carrier responded to him. Taking to Instagram and Twitter, the airline said: 'Today Emirates accepted the @dubaifitnesschallenge. From 20th October 2016, everyone at Emirates will be challenged to do 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 days. Watch this space for more!' And of course, it being Emirates, the response came with a very classy photo.
 
Sheikh Hamdan also challenged Emirates Group's Chairman and CEO Sheikh Ahmed. In another Instagram story, he recorded a video issuing the challenge and tagging Sheikh Ahmed as well as the Dubai Fitness Challenge. 

In an Instagram post, Sheikh Ahmed responded to the Dubai Crown Prince with a simple caption: 'Ready'

Apart from Emirates, Dubai Police are also taking up Sheikh Hamdan's fitness challenge. UAE residents can take part too by following these instructions.
