Photos: Hollywood star Sarah Rafferty's Dubai break and UAE desert trip in 'The Empty Quarter'

Dubai - The gorgeous Suits star made the most of her trip to the country.

Famous TV actress, 'Suit's' star Sarah Rafferty was in Dubai recently for a high profile event - and she made sure to make the most of the trip by venturing out in the open desert and the Dubai sea.
Rafferty was in town as a special guest for the coveted Global Teacher Prize event - a Varkey Foundation initiative - along with other celebrities from Hollywood, Bollywood and cricket such as Priyanka Chopra, Charlize Theron, Gina Torres, marathon legend Mo Farah and cricket legend Brian Legend among others.
One of the most popular US TV stars in the world, the gorgeous redhead 'Donna' took to Instagram to share breathtaking photos of Dubai and 'The Empty Quarter' with her 1.2 million followers on the social media site.
What is 'The Empty Quarter' you wonder?
It is the world's largest uninterrupted sand mass - the Rub Al Khali - with massive expanses of awesome desert and enormous dunes. It's a landscape of ever-changing endless dunes made famous by the British explorer Wilfred Thesiger and his Emirati and Omani companions in the 1940s and 50s.
Some of the popular desert activities in The Empty Quarter include dune dawn walks, camel trekking, dune bashing, falconry shows and camp fire barbecues - and Rafferty made sure she had the full experience.
