50% discount on traffic fines in Dubai

Dubai - The discount is valid for all fines which were incurred between January 1 until December 1 of this year

On the occasion of the 46th UAE National Day, Dubai Police announced that they are reducing the cost of traffic fines by 50%. This includes the cost of cars that were seized.
According to Wam's Twitter page, the decision follows the directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who directed the Ministry of Interior to cooperate with traffic and licensing departments in all emirates, to implement the decision which is valid on all traffic fines in all emirates.

The discount is valid for all fines which were incurred between January 1, 2017 until December 1, 2017. Motorists must settle their fines within 90 days in order to take advantage of the discount.
