She was arrested in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Police in an operation called ‘An open eye’.

The suspect stole the jewellery and fled to Al Ain in a bid to escape from the country. The quick response by the police succeeded in foiling her plan.

The police said that they received a complaint from the Arab family about the theft but the family members failed to provide any information about the maid because she was employed by them though she was not on their sponsorship. The police made great efforts to identify the suspect and in coordination with the police in Al Ain, she was arrested with the jewellery recovered. The complainant, who was asked to reach the police station, identified her.

The police warned families against hiring maids illegally as they might commit such crimes of any type and escape.
