Leave your cars locked, UAE police issue warning video

The police have issued an advisory to the parents.

The Abu Dhabi Police have shared a video warning parents not to leave their unattended cars unlocked.
In the re-enacted video, two Emirati boys can be seen approaching a vehicle left in the parking lot of a villa. As they explore the car, they find the door of the car unlocked.

The two boys manage to unlock the trunk, and then dangerously proceed to get inside the rear storage and lock themselves in.

The video highlights the fatal consequences of leaving cars unlocked.
The Abu Dhabi Police has issued an advisory to the parents warning them of negligence caused by  leaving their vehicle unlocked to avoid situations that could lead to a child's death.

There is also a need to continuously monitor young children as they could lock themselves in vehicles, leading to suffocation or death.
Children shouldn't be left alone in the car with the air-conditioning turned on for long as it could lead to asphyxiation.
