Get your car repaired for free on Abu Dhabi roads. Here's how

Drivers facing issues with their vehicles or technical difficulties while on the road are able to receive immediate help and repair for free, with the 'Road Service Patrol,' said the Department of Transport Abu Dhabi (DoT) on Wednesday.  
"The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport Road Service Patrol (RSP) is a free of charge roadway assistance, available for 24 hours, and offers urgent technical and mechanical maintenance," said the DoT on their official Instagram page. 
The authority said that drivers facing technical or mechanical issues and require maintenance can call 80088888 or 999 for immediate assistance. 
"RSP is designed according to DoT's vision to enhance the transport infrastructure in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and create safe ad secured road networks," added the DoT.  
The services provided by the Road Service Patrol, which was launched back in 2011 in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Police, includes the moving of vehicles from the main road should drivers face auto failure. 
The Road Service Patrol also transport the vehicles to safer locations to ensure the safety of drivers and the smooth flow of traffic. 
"Patrols are also equipped to assist broken down vehicles and offer services such as changing tyres, identifying flat battery, jumpstarting and topping up fuel and coolant if needed, to enable vehicles to reach the closest petrol station in the vicinity."
