Bahrain names jail attack's 10 most wanted men Bahrain's Ministry of Interior said Sunday's attack on the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Jau was carried out by a terrorist cell consisting of four or five members who were armed with automatic rifles and pistols.
The Ministry said in a statement that the cell was involved in an attack on the centre at about 5:30am Sunday.
The attack resulted in the death of policeman Abdulsalam Saif Ahmed while another policeman suffered moderate injuries. Ten inmates, all convicted in terrorism cases, escaped.
The investigation and search have been intensified to arrest the terrorists and the escaped convicts.

The ministry identified them as:

1. Ahmed Mohammed Saleh Mohammed Al Shaikh
Age: 26, Sentenced for 73-years.
2. Ammar Abdullah Isa Abdulhussain
Age: 28, Sentenced for life imprisonment and two years.
3. Mohammed Ibrahim Mulla Redhi Al Tooq
Age: 26, Sentenced for 28-year.
4. Hassan Abdullah Isa Abdulhussain
Age: 24, Sentenced for life imprisonment.
5. Isa Musa Abdullah Hassan
Age: 24, Sentenced for life imprisonment.
6. Hussain Atiyah Mohammed Saleh
Age: 37, Sentenced for life imprisonment.
7. Sadiq Jafar Salman Hussain
Age: 27, Sentenced for life imprisonment and 41 years.
8. Abdulhussain Juma Hassan Ahmed Al Onaisi
Age: 31, Sentenced for life imprisonment. 
9. Redha Abdullah Isa Al Ghasra
Age: 29, Sentenced for life imprisonment and 79 years.
10. Hussain Jassim Isa Jassim Al Bana
Age: 27, Sentenced for 43 years.
As part of the community partnership with citizens and residents, the Interior Ministry has urged those with any information about the escaped convicts or the terrorists who assisted them to call 999 or the hotline 80008008. All calls will be treated as anonymous.
The Ministry has also warned against aiding or abetting the escaped prisoners.
Article 255 of the penal code states that:
"Any person who either personally or through another provides shelter to an accused in a serious crime or a felony that is punishable by imprisonment or against whom an arrest warrant has been issued, or a death sentence or a penalty involving deprivation of liberty has been passed 

Thousands of Bahrainis are in jail on charges ranging from participating in anti-government protests to armed attacks on security forces in Bahrain, where the US Fifth Fleet is based.
A Bahraini court in January last year sentenced 57 men to 15-year jail terms for taking part in a 2015 riot inside Jau prison, which is located outside the capital Manama.
Bahrain crushed mass Arab Spring protests in 2011 but continued to suffer occasional outbursts  demanding reforms and a bigger share in the country.
