Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the Official spokesman of Coalition Forces, stated that on Sunday evening and Monday morning, the forces managed to intercept and shoot down in Yemeni airspace two drones launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Sanaa towards the kingdom.
Colonel Al-Maliki explained that all attempts by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to launch drones are doomed to fail and the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with these drones to protect civilians, noting that repeated terrorist attempts reflect the despair of the terrorist militia and confirm the criminality of Iran's proxies in the region and those who stand behind them, and their continuing adoption of false successes through their misleading media confirm the magnitude of the losses they suffer and the state of popular discontent towards them.
The spokesman for the coalition forces stressed the continuation of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to implement deterrent measures against this terrorist militia to neutralize and destroy these capabilities firmly, and in accordance with the international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
