Ramli Sulaiman wins Centro Sharjah Midweek Medal

Dubai — Two handicapper Ramli Sulaiman showed exceptional mental strength to overcome a very tough ground conditions to win the first of June’s Centro Sharjah Midweek Medal, a Press release said.
Playing the first tournament after the club’s major annual green maintenance was conducted, the Singaporean returned with an impressive level par 36, net 35 to take a two-shot lead.
Sulaiman, who took home a weekend stay at the Centro Hotel and a Pro Shop voucher, later revealed how he took inspiration from Padraig Harrington’s amazing success story in the sport.
The improving Namir Al Naimi (8) took division 1 with a very respectable 37 and Anmar Jameel (30) won division 2 with a net 40.
