Lizette wins Ethos bowling

Filipina expat Lizette Fellizar ruled the lanes at Ethos Consultancy’s bowling tournament at the Switch Bowling Centre in Ibn Batuta Mall over the weekend.

Fellizar, who works in the Admin department as an accountant, scored a couple of strikes and five spares to finish on top with 218 pin falls in a two-game series.

Bilal Omari, director, Consultancy Solutions came in second place with a total of 207 pin falls while marketing manager Mark Hamill took bronze with 206.

“Sport is a stress buster and it builds camaraderie among the staff,” Lizette said. “I’m proud to win but I did not expect it. Having loads of fun with my colleagues were already enough for me.”

The bowling tourney was part of Ethos Consultancy’s celebration of entering its 10th year of operations.

The company is a customer service consultancy, training and measurement solutions firm in the Middle East.

Rounding off the top 10 places were George Mahfouz (4th,198 pins); Jad Rammal (5th, 195); Ahmed Mahboob (6th, 195); Amal Al Sulaimani (7th, 193); Roberto Siazon (8th, 191); Mahmoud Garad (9th, 186); and Pradeep Lakhiani (10th, 175).
