In this senior role, Jones will deploy his integrated management, sales and business expertise as the official representative for the P1 brand in the UAE. He will focus on establishing the race series and running the day-to-day operations and management of the championship in the UAE.
The role covers all aspects of the series with the aim of successfully launching and operating P1 profitably, at the same time ensuring that the key principles which underpin the brand – affordability, accessibility and parity – are maintained.
Jones comes with more than a decade of experience in the sports and marine world, having held a number of prominent customer-oriented and sales-focused roles in his career. These include Senior Sales Manager at ART Marine (Dubai, UAE); Business Development Manager at the European Design Group (Dubai, UAE); and Avionics Instructor UAE, Air Force (Dubai, UAE). He is an avid powerboat racing fan.
