Dubai - Companies discuss common threads that make them natural partners for business

India's leading tyre manufacturer BKT has taken the next steps in its partnership with GB Equipment Solutions (GBES) of Galadari Brothers by introducing the Heavy Equipment Division of Galadari Brothers to their products, processes and practices.
In June this year, GBES, a part of the Heavy Equipment Division of Galadari Brothers, was made the distributors of BKT tyres in the UAE during Automechanika Dubai, the world's leading trade show for the autmotive service industry.
Suhail Abdul Latif Galadari, Director of Galadari Brothers, and Mohammed Yahya Kazi Meeran, Group CEO and Director of Galadari Brothers, presented a memento to Rajiv Poddar of BKT as they welcomed him to the Galadari Brothers headquarters during the meeting in Dubai on Wednesday.
They discussed common threads that make the two natural partners. BKT's tagline is 'Growing Together', which Meeran, Group CEO of Galadari Brothers, mentioned was actually a phrase that aptly represented the GB philosophy.
Poddar said that 50 per cent of their energy production comes from green sources. For agri-radials, in pure daily production numbers, BKT is No.1 in the world.
BKT has developed into a global player in the off-highway tyre industry with a 6 per cent market share and a sales volume of $850 million, corresponding to a 30 per cent increase over the last five years.
