The discussions focussed on the ways for benefitting from the experiences of Dubai as a model in the field of modern infrastructure capable of sustaining a diverse business environment.

The officials of the Corporation, which is an offshoot of the Dubai Economic Development Department, extensively discussed with the Nigerian delegation, the need for developing a mechanism for setting up alliances and strategic partnerships between Emirati and Nigerian companies.

The discussins also dealt with the removal of impediments before bilateral exports and imports between the UAE and Nigeria.

The delegation’s visit comes within the framework of a program organised by the Corporation for bringing in government and business delegations from Africa to identify opportunities for investment and trade the UAE in general and Dubai in particular.
