Yemen on the brink

It's a shame that the warring parties in Yemen cannot reach a deal. They can't even meet to find a solution to a humanitarian problem which is killing and dislocating people.

The fighting must end for the Yemenis to get on their feet again. The economy is in disarray because there’s nothing but war on the horizon. It’s sad that the United States has turned away from the problems of the impoverished country.

Washington must play a more prominent role to get the Saudis and the Houthis to talk because the UN has proven it is helpless to solve the problems of the world. How many more deaths should we see before we find a solution in Yemen?
