School bus drivers should be careful

It is important for the bus drivers of school buses to focus on the road but it is equally important for them to be vigilant when students are boarding and getting off the vehicle. It was horrifying to read about the schoolgirl who lost her life after her dress was caught in the door (School girl dies after being dragged by bus in Saudi; KT, Sept 20). Students are often careless about their safety. It could be because of tiredness, lack of sleep or excitement of reaching home.
