Dhoom 3: Ending with a whimper?
As excited as I was to see the most awaited film of the year, the newest Bollywood release Dhoom 3, my expectations received a serious blow when I watched the premiere.
Although Katrina Kaif helped me focus less on the clear logical fallacies in the movie with her beautiful presence, I could not help but question the inefficiency of the Chicago police department since they needed help from Mumbai police to catch a bank robber.
It was also amazing how Aamir Khan’s motorcycle could turn into just about anything when caught in a difficult situation but failed to function as a helicopter at the end when he was covered on all sides.
During the movie, I felt like Yash Raj Films, its producer, was begging me to shut my brains off and focus on the glamour and brilliant action only. I commend the cinematography and action choreography but all in all, the movie was a serious disappointment.
