It is indeed amusing to see the Modi detractors celebrating BJP’s ignominious defeat in the Delhi assembly elections and proclaiming that this is the death-knell for BJP and end of the Modi government. What is really laughable is that political nonentities like Vaiko (from Tamil Nadu) and six corrupt parties from UP and Bihar (Nitish Kumar, Laloo et al) who have burried the hatchet and joined together, not based of their ideologies but solely on their disgusting lust to capture power, demanding that Modi should resign and step down from power.

What these pseudo-secularists and self-appointed custodians of democracy should remember is that Narendra Modi and BJP cannot be wished away just like that and they are here to stay, for the next five years (at least).
