Teenager gang-raped in ICU of private hospital in India

Uttar Pradesh - The girl had informed her grandmother about the incident.

A teenager in India was allegedly gang-raped in an ICU of a private hospital. The girl was getting treated after she was bitten by a snake.
The incident was reported in Uttar Pradesh.
"The victim narrated the incident after she was shifted to the general ward. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway," senior police officer A Singh told news agency ANI.
While one hospital staff has been arrested, police are on the lookout for four others.
The girl had informed her grandmother about the incident. The accused had walked into the ICU and tried to give her an injection. When she resisted, she was gagged and her hands tied. The grandmother informed the doctors and hospital authorities after which the police was called.
