Are your children looking for a challenge this summer?
The Dubai International Writers’ Centre will be hosting a children’s camp for creative minds that will run from August 23-26. The four-day course will feature writing exercises, theatre training and an art programme for kids aged 8 to 12.
The highlight of the camp will be the creative writing classes held by Rachel Hamilton (pictured), author of the bestselling children’s book The Case of the Exploding Loo, whose writing career took off when she was declared a winner at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature and Montegrappa Writing Competition in 2013.
Renowned mime artist Lara Matossian will also be on hand to showcase her popular physical theatre workshops. To register, visit www.diwc.ae/creativity-camps.
