Expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Shaikhas for their moral support, and contributing to the success of the Shaikha Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity.

In a statement marking the end of a cycle of the award which concluded on Thursday, Shaikha Amina said: "I would like to take this opportunity to stress the importance of contributing to the country's social, economic, and political development."


She expressed her thanks and appreciation to the country's wise leaders who really worked hard in the interest of the people, thanking the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and all Members of Supreme Council of the UAE Federation for their efforts in constructing a modern country which enjoys peace and security.

Shaikha Amina hailed the creativity and distinguished works of the children who participated in all categories of the award which attracted a number of children and youth. "People of the UAE are proud of the great achievements and success made by the children who proved their creativity and talents in many fields."she said.


Shaikha Amina extended her appreciation to Shaikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Minister of Defence, for her guidance and moral support of the award. She also thanked Shaikha Fakhra bint Saeed bin Shakhboot, wife of Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for attending the event, and congratulated her daughter Osha who is the winner of the grand prize in painting.

She also expressed her thanks to Shaikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the patron of the award, and also thanked her sisters Shaikha Shaikha, Shaikha Futtaim and Shaikha Mariam as well as daughters of Shaikh Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum for attending the honouring ceremony.

Shaikha Amina praised the efforts made by the officials of the award and DWA for their continuous efforts in serving the children, promoting their talents and skills and preparing them to contribute to the development process.
