20 students of Al Khaleej National School graduate

DUBAI - The Al Khaleej National School held its fourth annual graduation ceremony where 20 students from the Class of 2003 graduated.

The glittering ceremony was held at the Dubai Police Officer's Club on Wednesday evening and attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum and Dr Jamal Al Muhairy, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Education and Youth.

The school is part of the Global Educational Management Systems (GEMS) and a member of the Varkey Group, offering students the American High School diploma.


Speaking on the occasion, the school principal, A. Yvonne Smith, congratulated the graduating students and urged them to do their alma mater proud in their future endeavours. The students also spoke on the occasion and thanked the teachers for helping them to develop their academic and leadership qualities.

Mohammed Abdul Razzak was presented the award for the outstanding student of the year among the graduating students while among the girls Bushra Al Rokm bagged the award for her excellent all round performance.


The certificates and honours were given away by the Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum in the presence of a large gathering of parents, students, teachers and distinguished guests.
