The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and US President Donald Trump discussed relations and regional developments during a phone call, the Saudi Press Agency (Spa) reported on Thursday.

They both discussed regional developments as well as their bilateral and strategic ties and ways to boost them.


"President Trump thanked King Salman for his leadership and expressed his optimism towards resolving the Gulf Rift," a White House statement said.
