UAE police win 14 GCC gold medals

Abu Dhabi - Lt-Gen Shaikh Saif praised the UAE Police National Shooting Team's achievement, noting that these positive results were realised as a result of the police heroes' efforts.

Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honoured the chairman and council members of the Police Sports Association; as well as the executives and players of the shooting, swimming, and karate police teams.
The UAE police team won the General Excellence Shield and first place at the first edition of the GCC Police Games, which took place in Kuwait. The team won 14 gold medals, seven silver medals, and eight bronze medals.
Lt-Gen Shaikh Saif praised the UAE Police National Shooting Team's achievement, noting that these positive results were realised as a result of the police heroes' efforts.
He wished that the national team would achieve further milestones and greater results, commensurate with the reputation and status of the UAE police.
Held on the sidelines of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016), the honoring was attended by Major General Khamis Matar Al Mazeina, Commander General of the Dubai Police; Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Police Sports Association; Colonel Waleed Al Shamesi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police College and member of the Police Sports Association; and all board members
