Ajman Ruler hails green initiative

Ajman - His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, praised the keenness of the civic body on increasing the number of parks in various areas.

His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has commended the efforts of Municipality and Planning Department, Ajman, to increase the green areas in the emirate.
He also praised the keenness of the civic body on increasing the number of parks in various areas, achieving the leadership's vision and the dream of the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to launch the Plantation Week 36 years ago under the theme "Together We can make the UAE green". Shaikh Humaid made his remarks at the official opening of Al Sufia Park in Mushairaf area in Ajman, on the occasion of the launch of the 36th Plantation Week in the UAE. Built at a cost of Dh9 million, the park includes facilities which provide services to the visitors in the area.
