Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) will highlight its futuristic smart business technology solutions at Gitex this year. Panasonic will also introduce its range of sustainable living solutions featuring products that deploy cutting-edge technology to provide energy saving solutions.

At the Panasonic stand, visitors can experience Panasonic’s unique farming technology, a sustainable and economical indoor farming technology that can produce a wide range of seasonal crops using soil-based cultivation in controlled environments. Crops grown using this technology are not only organic and pesticide free, they also contain low levels of potassium and have a faster growth rate than produce cultivated by traditional farming.

Visitors will be able to see hydroponic type indoor vegetable factory which uses water only without soil; and soil type indoor vegetable factory. Furthermore, the most interesting technology that will be showcased is the hydrophobic sand that can resist water. This will change the concept of water usage in the agriculture domain.

Also on display will be Panasonic’s Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town (FSST) concept in Japan which is focused on providing sustainable energy consumption and optimal utilization of solar power in homes. It provides energy services that enable city dwellers to generate energy supply to use in their homes.

Besides, detailed Home Energy Management System (HEMS) will also be on display to let visitors experience how the electrical/solar system will work in future homes.

Adding to the impressive line-up of products, Panasonic will showcase its smart communication, smart office automations, and smart display products featuring the latest IP-PBX range and digital cordless phones, heavy duty and lightweight range of business-smart projectors, and durable 4K TV displays available in the large size format of 85 inch and 98 inch, in addition to the narrow bezel products of video wall solutions.

Apart from the above, Panasonic’s stand will also showcase the storage battery system based on the rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. These high energy density batteries can be seen in three different applications related to residential and commercial usage and it can also be customised for many other applications.
