Messi has a cold, skips training
Argentine coach Diego Maradona sent superstar Lionel Messi back to bed because of a cold, Argentinian football officials said Thursday.
“He did not train today. He came to the training grounds with a cold, but no fever,” officials from the Argentine Football Association said.
The 23-year-old was nevertheless expected to be fit for Saturday’s World Cup quarterfinal clash against Germany.
