Dubai - UAE citizens and residents can apply through the Expo 2020 website

Applications to register for Expo 2020 volunteers will close on March 31, authorities have announced.

The Expo 2020 Volunteers Programme seeks to engage with more than 30,000 volunteers, including Emiratis and UAE residents, to help operate and manage the event that is hoping to attract millions of visitors and participants.

“If you’re a UAE citizen or resident, now’s your last chance to join the Expo 2020 Volunteers Programme. This special initiative offers you the opportunity to become an ambassador for the UAE, helping to welcome millions of visitors to the first World Expo in the region,” Expo 2020 Dubai said in an e-mail. People aged 18 and above can apply for the volunteer programme and they will also be interviewed before they join the team. UAE residents interested to take part in this programme can apply on the Expo 2020 website.
