The first event dedicated to the "Made in Italy" fashion and accessory sectors will take place in Dubai from October 26 to 28.
The Dubai World Trade Centre will host the first exhibition dedicated to small and medium-sized Italian companies operating in the fashion, accessories and beauty industries.
More than 120 companies will have a chance to introduce their products in the UAE and Middle East, and present them to local and international buyers. The latter will have the opportunity to participate in B2B meetings with exhibitors in a special area set up by the Italian Industry and Commerce Office in the UAE within the event's location.
It will be an excellent opportunity for visitors as they can buy what they like from the stands during the exhibition.
Do not miss the chance to visit and buy quality fashion products that only "Made in Italy" can guarantee.
Andrea Monelletti, Executive Board Manager of Carrera Jeans, and Silvio Cattaneo, President of Cattaneo Cravatte SRL, share their thoughts:

Carrera Jeans
What are the main reasons that prompted you to participate in Italian Lifestyle in Dubai?
Andrea Monelletti: ALMON SRL holds an exclusive worldwide licence for the fragrance of Carrera Company. We decided to participate in Italian Lifestyle in Dubai as it represents an important and unique occasion to showcase the brand globally with the aim of promoting  it at the international level.
During the Italian Lifestyle in Dubai, we will be launching a new line of fragrances, and we believe that this event will be a perfect platform to promote our products and collections in the Emirati and international market. ALMON SRL is a relatively young company that was launched last year and we believe that our participation in the Italian Lifestyle in Dubai will give us the exposure that we need. Moreover, the Carrera brand will be able to show its huge collection, ranging from jeans and footwear to fragrances.

What are your expectations from this event?
Andrea Monelletti: ALMON SRL has several contacts with Middle East buyers, some of which are based in Dubai. Participation in Italian Lifestyle in Dubai will allow us to meet our contacts directly, and serve as an occasion to meet other potential new distributors from the MENA region. Our goals are to find reliable distributors that share the same values and are willing to cooperate with us. Dubai, being at the crossroads of  the Middle East, Europe and the Far East, is a strategic international hub for expanding our market. It represents a fundamental starting point to assert our presence in the Arab scene. We hope that our new range of products would be able to meet the expectations of the UAE market. We are very excited about this new international experience.

Cattaneo Cravatte

Your company is already in the UAE market. Why did you choose to attend Italian Lifestyle in Dubai?
Silvio Cattaneo: I was the first one in the company establish trade ties with Dubai in 1985. Since then I have never stopped enhancing my trade relations with the UAE.
My participation in the Italian Lifestyle in Dubai is due to a variety of reasons. First of all, this event represents a unique opportunity to meet new potential distributors, as the first two days of the exhibitions are exclusively dedicated to B2B meetings with retailers. The other interesting aspect is the opportunity to meet buyers from other countries.

What are your expectations?
Silvio Cattaneo: I have been an exhibitor since 1981, travelled all over the world and gained experience in this field. I have learned that while you do not expect to conclude a distribution contract during a B2B meeting, you need to understand that the meeting is a starting point to cultivate a solid relationship that would eventually lead to concrete results. Of course, I am interested in expanding relations with operators in the UAE. My production of ties and scarves is focused on the branding of top-level distributors and the marketing company, which would take time to reach final customers.
As President of CNA Federmoda, Piemonte and Torino, I feel compelled to be a part of this event and bring results to associated companies. Some colleagues from CNA in other regions will also attend the exhibition, as the CNA has supported it. CNA believes in this first "Made in Italy" event in the UAE dedicated to fashion and accessories.
