Dubai Ladies Club organises the second edition of The Wellness Yard

In line with its commitment to offer a well-rounded platform for women's health and wellbeing, Dubai Ladies Club organised the second edition of 'The Wellness Yard' on March 25 and 26, 2019 at its premises.
The event was held in line with the directives of  Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment, President of Dubai Ladies Club and wife of  Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, to offer the Club's members and guests with holistic activities and events that encourage women to pursue a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
The second edition of 'The Wellness Yard' is among the various social, athletic, health, and cultural events and initiatives that the Club organizes with the aim to meet the needs and requirements of its members and guests.
Lamia Abdulaziz Khan, director of Dubai Ladies Club, emphasised the club's commitment to provide women with a supportive environment that caters to their health and happiness in a variety of fields.
Lamia Khan stated: "Dubai Ladies Club aims to further establish itself as the destination of choice for women and children among the world's leading health and leisure ladies' clubs." She added: "The second edition of 'The Wellness Yard' was organized following the success of the first edition and the popular demand of members and guests, given the variety of activities organized, amenities offered, and discussions held on health and wellbeing."
'The Wellness Yard' included complimentary medical check-ups, meetings with doctors and dietitians, meditation sessions on the beachfront, group fitness classes, Zumba classes, and treatments from Al Asalla Spa, as well as a packed schedule of children's activities, including a cooking class held by Remaliya Restaurant. - sandhya@khaleejtimes.com
