Worker stabbed to death
An Indian worker was reportedly stabbed to death during a brawl which took place in an open space behind a labour accommodation in Al Qusais area in Dubai on Friday night.
Brigadier Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, said three Indian workers including the victim were consuming alcohol and suddenly the victim started abusing one of the two suspects.
He explained that the 25-year-old Indian suspect took knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim several times, with the assistance of the second suspect.
Both of them fled the scene soon after the incident.
One of the suspects was arrested from a relative’s house in Al Quoz while the other was held from Al Ain, he added.
