Worker sent to jail for stealing electricity cables

A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to one year jail for stealing electricity cables from a construction site.
Ajman Criminal Court, which pronounced the verdict, has also ordered his deportation.
According to police record, the Indian accused - S.S.G - stole four electricity cables from a building under construction.
The accused was caught by the guard of the site, which belong to one of the companies, while he was trying to flee with stolen items.
The guard managed to catch him red-handed and informed the site engineer, who called the police.
The guard in his testimonies at the court said that he saw the accused carrying the wires and trying to flee but managed to hold him until the site engineer arrived at the site.
When police arrived, the accused confessed that he tried to steal the wire but was stopped by the guard.
