According to court records, the public prosecution referred three Arab minors, one of whom was at large, to court on 12 theft charges of stealing from cars that belong to others, by shattering the cars’ glass windows.

The trio were also accused of breaking into a house and stealing cash. The minors, all 17-years-old, denied the charges and demanded to be released. However, evidence collected proved that the first minor accused had indulged in some of the said cases; nevertheless there was no concrete evidence against the other two wrongdoers.

Accordingly, the court exonerated the three accused of the 12 theft charges.

The first accused, however, was convicted in two of the foregoing cases and was ordered by the court to be placed in a juvenile care and correction home.
