5 vehicles impounded for road stunt
The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols of the Abu Dhabi Police recently seized five motor vehicles used by students for performing road stunts in front of a school in Al Ain city to celebrate the end of the academic year.
The police are currently interrogating the students who indulged in the dangerous act in a preliminary step to refer them to the Public Prosecution.
Brigadier Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Directorate of the Abu Dhabi Police, unveiled a plan being chalked out by the Police to be applied all over the emirate to raise the traffic safety levels during the vacation.
The plan, which aims to prevent and curb any road stunts, shall step up traffic patrol cars close to schools in the emirate to catch wrongdoers.— news@khaleejtimes.com
