2 stabbed to death for making fun of coworker in UAE

Sharjah - The suspect confessed to having a knife at the time of the incident.

A man has been accused of stabbing two of his flatmates stabbed to death in Sharjah.
The Asian suspect had been with his flatmates at the workers' accommodation when an argument took place between him and the other two men.
He claimed they were making fun of him. The argument escalated until he stabbed them. 
The man confessed that he did have a knife with him but denied stabbing the victims. He added that there were many people in the area when the stabbing took place and he also injured his hand in the brawl. 
A witness from Sharjah Police testified that two men were admitted to the hospital with mortal wounds. Later he was informed that a man turned himself into the police in connection with the two deaths.
The court postponed the hearing until February 26.
