Ramada Ajman Hosts Afghanistan and Canadian Cricket Teams
AJMAN — Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman organised a reception for the Afghan and Canadian Cricket teams who played the 200th one-day international match at the historic Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
The event was attended by the participating teams, officials from the Sharjah Cricket Council, a press release said.
Addressing the audience Shehab Lotfi, General Manager Ramada Ajman, said: “We are very pleased to hostthese players especially the Afghan cricket team and congratulate them on qualifying for the T20 World Cup 2010.”
Mazhar Khan, administrator of UAE Cricket Board, said: “I thank Ramada Ajman for their support in making this event a success.
At the same time we congratulate the Afghan team for their performance in the T20 World Cup qualifying round. We wish them all the best in the coming days.”
Iftikhar Hamdani, director, sales and marketing, Ramada Ajman, said: “In future also we intend to host many such events at the property. Mazhar Khan deserves praise from all quarters for organizing successful cricketing events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.”
