The game is a crucial encounter for both teams’ semifinal chances.

The Lions have won one from two and will face an uphill task to make the last four if they lose at their home ground. Winless Guyana will be eliminated from the tournament if it loses.

Batsman Neil McKenzie is ruled out with the flu for the Lions, and is replaced by Jean Symes. Seam bowler Craig Alexander comes in for spinner Werner Coetsee.

Guyana has made two changes after the loss to Mumbai in the week, with bowler Lennox Cush in for Paul Wintz and allrounder Steven Jacobs in for Narsingh Deonarine.

South Australia Redbacks have already qualified for the semis from Group B.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, the Highveld Lions and even Guyana still have a chance of joining them in the knockout stages.

IPL teams Bangalore and Mumbai meet later on Sunday.
