After Jacques Kallis led South Africa to a 339-run lead with his second century of the match South Africa’s bowlers kept the scoring low Thursday with 10 maidens from 28 overs in the first session.

Virender Sehwag was the only man out, edging Morne Morkel to Graeme Smith at first slip for 11. Gautam Gambhir and Rahul Dravid were unbeaten on 32 and 8 respectively.

India is chasing 340 to win the series 2-1. The total would be the highest-ever winning fourth innings score at Newlands.
