India crash out of World Cup, New Zealand enter final

The second semifinal will be played between England and Australia.

The World Cup 2019 semi-final match between India and New Zealand was suspended yesterday due to rain.
The semi-final will run into a second day on Wednesday after persistent rain prematurely ended play on Tuesday.  The game will continue on the reserve day today with New Zealand set to resume their innings at 211/5 in 46.1 overs.

Today's forecast for Manchester suggests that the day will be rather cloudy in the norther and central areas with outbreaks of rain, according to UK Met Office.
"Rather cloudy in northern and central areas with outbreaks of rain. Some brighter spells are possible in the afternoon, with a risk of heavy thundery downpours in northeast Scotland. Drier and brighter in the south and feeling warm and humid," the forecast read on their official website. 
AccuWeather forecasts intermittent rain on Wednesday. "The weather in Manchester will remain cloudy from 1 pm to 4 pm IST. However, at 5 pm IST, rain is expected to hit Old Trafford but should ease a bit between 6 to 8 pm. It is expected to return from 9 pm to 11 pm IST with chances of play getting affected on multiple occasions," it said.   
Considering the rain situation, if the game cannot be completed even on the reserve day, the team that ranked higher in the league stage will proceed to the final.
If the final match is also washed out, and cannot be completed even on the reserve day, then the trophy will be shared by the two finalists. During the final match, too, the reserve day will see both teams continue from where they left, and it won't be a restart of the match.  
A super over will come into play in case of a tied semifinal or final.
