Liberty Automobiles Co, an authorised dealer of ACDelco, has renovated, expanded and upgraded its ACDelco Service Center in Sharjah, featuring all modern car care services in a spacious and comfortable environment.
ACDelco is a division of General Motors specialising in the production of automotive oils, lubricants, batteries, parts and accessories. The launch of Liberty's refurbished ACDelco Service Center comes in a year when General Motors is celebrating the 100th year of ACDelco as a global leader in automotive replacement parts and related services.
It was in 1991 that Liberty Automobiles took the lead of opening the world's first ACDelco Service Center, a model that proved so successful that it was later replicated in other parts of the world by General Motors.
The recently-refurbished centre was inaugurated by Shaikh Khalid Abdulaziz Al Qasimi, Chairman of Liberty Group, and Mario A. Spangenberg, president and managing director for GM Africa and the Middle East, in the presence of senior officials from General Motors, ACDelco and Liberty Automobiles.
Shaikh Khalid said: "Twenty-five years ago, we pioneered the concept of the ACDelco Service Center, and today we are proud to reward our customers with a totally transformed car care facility offering the highest levels of efficiency, speed and comfort. We have gone to great lengths to overhaul the entire facility to offer superior services catering to vehicles of all brands and makes."
Spangenberg said: "General Motors Middle East, ACDelco and our dealer partners Liberty are proud to say that we put the customer at the centre of everything we do. This marvelous new customer-centric facility will further enable us to continue our long history of serving customers with high standards of quality and excellence."
The hallmarks of the upgraded centre include additional service bays for oil and filter change, express service and a dedicated chamber for fixing ACDelco window tinting film, in addition to bays for brake service, tire service and car wash. The renovated centre has more than doubled the parking spaces for customers and added a plush lounge with large glass windows that provide customers a full, transparent view of the vehicles being serviced.
