Ajman has launched an initiative to vaccinate senior citizens and people of determination at their homes, Ajman News reported on Thursday.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman's Citizens Affairs Office, said that the campaign was launched in coordination with the Ministry of Health in order to protect these vulnerable sections of society.
He urged those who wish to register for the vaccine to call the toll-free number 80070 so they can benefit from the service.

The new service is in line with UAE health officials announcing earlier this week that the vaccine can be administered to senior citizens in their homes.
“Our message today is to a dear group, our elders. We have prioritised the availability of the vaccine to them,” Dr Farida Al Hosni, spokesperson for the UAE health sector, had said on Tuesday.
“Help us protect you, we can visit you at home to assess your medical condition and provide you the vaccine,” she had said.
