Covid safety: Dubai shuts down 5 shops, fines 8
Dubai - The shops flouted Covid-19 safety rules.

The Dubai Municipality has ordered the closure of five shops for failing to adhere to Covid-19 safety rules. Four stalls at the fruits and vegetables market and a laundry in Hor Al Anz were the shops that were shut down.
The civic body said it fined eight other businesses and issued 38 warnings.
Authorities in Dubai have stepped up Covid safety inspections. Earlier today, the Dubai Economy said it had shut down two businesses and issued 32 fines.
