The Bahrain health ministry has reported 401 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 331 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 107 were among expatriate workers, 293 were contacts of active cases, and one was travel related. One new death was also reported. The death toll stands at 312.
As many as 8,436 Covid-19 tests were carried out on October 24, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 76.474.
There are currently 29 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 75 cases receiving treatment. 3,160 cases are stable out of a total of 3,189 active cases.
