Abu Dhabi has confirmed a commendable drop in confirmed cases across the capital per tests conducted, thanks to its screening initiatives and other preventive measures.
According to Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis & Disasters Committee, the percentage of confirmed cases per total tests stands at 0.3 per cent for Abu Dhabi City, 0.6 per cent in Al Ain, and 0.4 per cent in Al Dhafrah.
The results reflect the community's cooperation and commitment to following precautionary measures instituted to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
As of July 27, authorities had conducted more than 200,000 tests in 15 residential neighbourhoods during the first month of its home screening initiative.

UAE residents flying to Abu Dhabi are required to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test result at check-in - or risk being denied permission to travel.
The capital has also made it mandatory for anyone seeking to enter the emirate to furnish a negative Covid-19 test result that is no older than 48 hours.
Meanwhile, a rapid testing facility that was opened on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi border near the Ghantoot checkpoint last week  - and that offers results in five minutes for Dh50 - has reported testing between 6,000-8,000 people every day.
The authority, together with the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, renewed its appeal to the community to continue upholding these safety guidelines, in order to preserve the gains made so far to contain the spread of the virus completely.
