India's 'vaccine diplomacy' has now reached the UAE.

India-manufactured Covid vaccines have landed in Dubai on Tuesday afternoon.

India's External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar tweeted the news with photos of the Air India flight that carried the vaccines to Dubai.

"Made in India vaccines reach Dubai. A special friend, a special relationship," the minister tweeted.

Indian Ambassador to the UAE Pavan Kapoor tweeted: "Always glad to support a close friend. Another example of the India-UAE partnership in healthcare."

As part of the vaccine diplmacy drive, India had recently sent 100,000 anti-Covid shots to Oman.

Around seven million made-in-India doses of AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine will be part of Pakistan’s free Covid-19 vaccination drive starting next week.
